My family and I enjoy coming here. I love their yogurt with homemade granola and fresh fruit. We also order their fluffy blueberry hotcakes and breakfast burrito. They also have family dinners which is a must try! It is stated it will feed a family of four. However, the portions are so generous it possibly may feed six! Delicious and savory. I also enjoy the staff! Anna, Krystina, and Jerry. They always welcome us by name, which is rare these days. Very personal which is a great wow factor. Thank you Rise and Shine for the great service. - Aunty Meredith

This is a great little breakfast stop on our way to the plantation. The service was above and beyond, and the food was so good. The pancakes are ginormous so maybe only get one and I don't know how they got their potatoes to taste so good but there were great!

Food, service, and ambiance were perfect for a breakfast meal. Had the waffle and eggs Benedict traditional and corn beef hash.

Our go to breakfast spot when visiting the in-laws. The place is a bit on the small size so it can get busy in the mornings. I recommend getting it to go if you live close by. We have had almost everything on the menu and they are all tasty. Loco moco could be hit or miss sometimes and get salty but eating it with plain rice will help. My brother in law and I usually get the fried rice or the kimchi fried rice though. My favorite is the kimchi fried rice and the portion is enough for a second meal or to share. The wife likes their vegetable burrito and is her go to favorite. Can't wait to come back and visit!!

Our go to brunch spot in the area. Corned Beef Eggs Benedict is our fave and Breakfast Burrito is always a solid second dish for us. They have amazing desserts also and great service! Our toddler loves their Keiki pancakes and potatoes.

Nice little cafe. Came around 10:30 am on a Saturday. 6 in our party. Parking isn't bad. It's located by a Longs and other businesses so there is a large parking lot. We waited only about 20 minutes to sit down. Small dining room. Menu is decent. Not too small but enough options. Everyone enjoyed Kona coffee. We ordered vegetable burrito, California burritos, croissant Breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs and Portuguese sausage on it, the grilled fish eggs Benedict, corned beef eggs Benedict. Food came out pretty quickly and was very good. No complaints about any of it. We snagged a few desserts to go. The key lime tart, chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and the cinnamon swirl bread pudding. All delicious! It was a nice outing for brunch and we all enjoyed. Definitely will come back

This place seems to have a lot of people order take out but the line to get seated was very prompt. We were seated 2 minutes after we walked in. The service here is very friendly and attentive. The food portions were also large even for the half size benedict. The benedict's came with a side of potatoes and i ordered the half corn hash. A mistake because it was too many potato's for me. My aunty ordered the half loco moco and she enjoyed it fully. For our drinks we got their house latte and it was more on the sweet side than i like but was still good.

You need to try Rise and Shine Cafe! I didn't know how much I was missing out on until today! [Online Ordering] I was headed home from a staycation on North Shore, when I discovered this gem. Online ordering made everything easy! It's easy to customize as needed! Prices are more than fair. Given inflation, I'm surprised the prices aren't higher! More than reasonable! And no penny ever goes to waste supporting local! [Food] DE-LI-CIOUS! I ordered a breakfast burrito (less than $10), and it came with fresh-made salsa. My boyfriend got a breakfast plate with eggs, toast and Portuguese sausage. They aren't playing with the portion size. The sausage was cut vertically (long-way) rather than into thin circles. First time I've ever seen that! Fried rice was lovely. Breakfast burrito was so good! Chorizo, cheddar, potato! Next time I might add avo! They provided butter, jam and shoyu without me asking. It's the little details! [Drink] Their house iced coffee is made with Kona coffee, cream and condensed milk. Only about $5 for a large size! What a deal! They waited til I arrived to prep the coffee for me. How considerate! [Service] Despite being busy, both staff members who assisted me were radiating aloha. Super welcoming. Good vibes! Anticipating needs. Truly amazing people. [Location] Plenty of free parking spots! Close to SuperCuts if you need a landmark. Cozy spot with lots of seating. Super clean and welcoming.

Stopped for breakfast and was craving pancakes. I noticed rise and shine cafe with these huge pancakes and great reviews so I headed over! Stopped by around 9 during the week and only about 5 tables were full. The staff was very friendly, we got coffee topped off and water was full the whole time. The pancakes are huge and the coconut was sweet and mouth coating. Went perfectly with the light fluffy pancakes. I wish we would have split it! Only complaint is I asked for over medium and they came out over easy but that's fine. It went well with my boyfriend's loco moco. It was a huge portion as well. Not a bad place for a quick breakfast.
